Book Review - Dork Whore
I finished Dork Whore last night, and dude, it was really good. I am usually not into reading about traveling through Asia, because the only place I want to go in Asia is Japan, and she never goes there. Iris is an Israeli backpacker who tries desperately to get ass the entire time she's in Asia, and comes (huh huh) close a couple times, but never really succeeds.
I'll admit that I skimmed the last chapter or so of the book, and the epilogue, where she talks about "cucumbering" herself. But the rest of the book was really funny, and held my interest the entire time. It's not the kind of book I'd normally read, but Linnea really liked it, and usually her picks are good. This one did not disappoint.
I give Dork Whore two out of three Starbucks logos, because while it was funny, there was a lot of talk about putting bananas in girly bits, and then the whole cucumbering thing, and, well, ew.
